NEW COLUMBIA - Barry W. Baker, 65, died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at his residence after a 12-year battle with cancer.
He was born on July 1, 1953 and was the son of the late Robert M. and Elmira H. (Garris) Baker.
Barry Served his country proudly in the United States Marines.
He worked for Con Agra and was a member of the Milton Moose Lodge 171, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Milton, Lewisburg American Legion Post# 182 and the Marine Corps League. Barry enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, fishing and hunting but most of all he loved his dogs and family.
Barry is survived by one son and his fiancé; Jeremy T. Baker of Milton, five grandchildren; Samantha Baker, Haleigh Stewart, Colin Rohrbach-Baker, Avery Rohrbach-Baker and Brycen Baker, one great grandson; Knox Beaver, two brothers and sisters-in-law; Danny R. and Betty Baker of New Columbia and Robert R. and Roxanne Baker of Milton and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by one son; Michael W. Baker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701
All services for Barry are being held privately at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
