Clarence G. Engle, 78, of New Columbia, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He was the husband of Sharon (Leon) Engle with whom he celebrated 25 years of marriage on December 16, 2025.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton with his son, Shane Trego officiating. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon on Thursday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.

Mr. Engle was born on July 27, 1947 in Sunbury, PA; a son of the late Charles H. Engle and Viola P. (Tressler) Weaver. He was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School in Pottstown and later in life received his HVAC Certification from HAAC. Clarence was a dedicated and hardworking individual, having spent many years contributing his skills and expertise as a maintenance technician at various organizations, including Yorktowne Cabinets and New Columbia Joist Company, ultimately retiring from ACF Industries.

An innovative spirit, Clarence was very handy and could fix just about anything. His passion for craftsmanship extended beyond his professional life; he enjoyed woodworking and electrical work in his leisure time as well. His remarkable talent allowed him to create many treasured pieces for family members, showcasing not only his skills but also the love and care he invested in every creation. Clarence had also been a member of the Milton Moose Lodge.

In addition to his wife Sharon, Mr. Engle is survived by a daughter, Misty Pauling of Ocean City, MD; three sons, Shane and wife Deanne Trego of Alabama, Chad Trego of Sunbury, and Ty and wife Melissa Engle of Watsontown; a stepdaughter, Tammy Aikey of New Columbia; and a stepson, Robert Troxell of Montandon; nine grandchildren, Dayton Wagner, Shaniah and husband Taylor Pritchett, Dylan Steele, Jaymon Pauling, Averie Engle, Hope and husband MJ McGehee, Shaylah and husband Taylor Kelly, Logan Troxell, and AJ Trego; five great grandchildren, Kristian, Gloria, Finn, Kayleigh, and Judah; a brother, Daniel Radel of Milton; and a sister, Sandra Anderson of Milton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Radel.
