LEWISBURG - David R. Faust III, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

Born April 17, 1956, David was the son of Kathleen Faust and the late David R. Faust Jr.

A dedicated and hardworking man, Dave spent his entire career at Bingaman & Son Lumber, where he worked for many years before retiring in April 2026.

An avid outdoorsman, Dave found some of his greatest joys in hunting, fishing, and spending time at the cabin. Whether enjoying the peace of the outdoors or sharing stories and laughter with his hunting and fishing buddies, these were the moments he treasured. He was also a devoted Penn State, Phillies, and NASCAR fan.

Above all else, Dave's greatest pride and joy was being a grandfather. He loved his grandchildren dearly, and the time he spent with them held a special place in his heart. Of all the roles he held throughout his life, being Grandpa was undoubtedly his favorite.

David is survived by his mother, Kathleen Faust; his sons, Drew Faust and wife Autumn, and Dan Faust and fiancée Julie Paul; his five beloved grandchildren, Amelia, Conner, Deacon, Sadie, and Molly Faust. He is also survived by his sister, Kimberly Quinn; sister-in-law, Tammy Faust; numerous nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends, including his longtime cabin, hunting, and fishing buddies.

In addition to his father, David R. Faust Jr., he was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Faust, and brother-in-law, Thomas Quinn.

A private family service will be held, followed by an outdoor gathering in remembrance of Dave on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the pavilion at Saint Paul's @ The Farm United Church of Christ, 50 Brookpark Circle, Lewisburg, PA 17837. Family and friends are invited to gather for fellowship, remembrance, and sharing cherished memories of Dave.

The Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton is honored to serve the Faust family.
