Donna R. Snyder

NORTHUMBERLAND - Donna R. (Aucker) Snyder, 89, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.

She was born in Milton on September 8, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Lloyd F. and Rachel (Duke) Aucker.

On October 10, 1953, Donna married the late Robert C. Snyder, and they celebrated 50 years of marriage together until his passing on January 12, 2004. Together they started Robert C. Snyder Farms where they raised their children. Alongside her husband, Donna played an avid role in building and maintaining Snyder Farms, working faithfully beside him and eventually alongside their children.

Donna was a graduate of Montandon High School, Class of 1954. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Milton, the Christian Woman’s Club, Point Township Garden Club, and the Pa Farm Bureau. Her love for the Lord was evident in the way she faithfully led and cared for her family and others around her. Donna often opened her home for family gatherings, church events, breakfasts, and countless occasions that brought people together in fellowship and love.

Donna loved gardening and flowers, especially her annual sunflowers which became a cherished hallmark of her home each year. Beloved as “Mimi” to many, she was a proud and devoted supporter of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, faithfully attending sporting events, concerts, and activities, always with a handful of Swedish Fish nearby to share. She was well known for her quick wit, warm sense of humor, and her famous expression, “Aw be darn,” often shared after a funny story and mutual laugh.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law; Michael and Shirley Snyder, of Northumberland, David and Melody Snyder of Northumberland and Mark Snyder of New Hope; one daughter, Janet Snyder of Lake Wales, FL; six grandchildren and their spouses, Sunni Snyder, Jason and Kristen Snyder, Ryan and Sara Snyder, Blake and Katelyn Snyder, Kyle and Meredith Snyder and Derek Snyder; and six great-grandchildren, Ava Snyder, Cole Snyder, Deacon Snyder, Audriana Snyder, Taytum Snyder and Owen Snyder.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by one infant sister, Janet Rose Aucker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund or Child Evangelism Fellowship.

A Celebration of Life service will take place on May 30, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church, 316 Golf Course Road, Milton, PA 17847 with Reverend Jamie Dries officiating. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family in Milton Cemetery. The Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton, is honored to serve the Snyder family.
