Edward T. Reichelderfer

LEWISBURG - Edward T. "Ed" Reichelderfer, 92, formerly of New Columbia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

Born in Milton on February 8, 1934, he was the son of the late Elmer and Susannah (Baumer) Reichelderfer. Ed graduated from Milton High School with the Class of 1953 before proudly serving his country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, he attended Williamsport Area Community College (WAC), where he earned a certificate in welding. Ed went on to work as a welder for ACF Industries in Milton for over 30 years until his retirement in 1994.

A founding member of Hillside Bible Church in Mifflinburg, Ed was a man of deep faith who loved sharing his personal relationship with Jesus with others. In his free time, he enjoyed raising animals and tinkering with various projects around his farm.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Van and Dorene Reichelderfer of New Columbia, and Calvin and Lori Reichelderfer of New Columbia; five grandchildren, Lindsay (Christopher) Hoke, Schalia Johnson, Brittany (Robert) Tyler, Kelsey Reichelderfer and her fiancé Matthew Geiner, and Brock Maihle; ten great-grandchildren, Emily Hancock, Josiah Hoke, Faith Hoke, Noah Hoke, Isaiah Ross, Emma Johnson, Tenichia Guffey, Juliea Wesner, Landon Wesner, and Dylan Follmer; and three great-great-grandchildren, GraceLin Hancock, Lorelai Hancock, and Mia Guffey.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his first wife, Mabel (Bowersox) Reichelderfer; his third wife, Regina (Miller) Ross; a granddaughter, Tenichia Reichelderfer; a brother, Elmer Reichelderfer; three sisters, Louise Young, Cecilia DeTurk, and Mary Catherine Braught along with his youngest brother, Kenneth Reichelderfer, who passed away just three and a half hours after Ed met him in heaven on September 14, 2026.

Per Ed's wishes, no public services will be held. A private burial will take place in Mazeppa Union Cemetery, Lewisburg, at the convenience of the family. The Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton is honored to serve the Reichelderfer family.
