Gloria Simon

NEW COLUMBIA - Gloria J. (Young) Simon, 66, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born in Muncy on July 30, 1952 and was the daughter of the late John S. and Doris G. (Berkenstock) Young, Sr.

In June of 1987 Gloria married Jeremiah A. “Jerry” Simon and they celebrated 31 years of marriage together this year.

She was a graduate of Milton High School Class of 1970.  Gloria enjoyed knitting, ceramics and drawing.  Most of all she loved her grandchildren and cats.

In addition to her husband, Gloria is survived by one son; Christopher N. Walter of New Columbia, one daughter and son-in-law; Tina M and Nathan Seidel of Northumberland, eight grandchildren and one brother and sister-in-law; John S. and Tena Young, Jr. of New Columbia.

A public viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.  Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
