WINFIELD - Helen M. (Burns) Bobb, 71, died Monday, November 9, 2020 at the home of her son with her family by her side.

She was born on May 3, 1949 in Sunbury and was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Louise W. (Dietz) Burns

On June 14, 1969 Helen married the late Michael O. Bobb and they celebrated 40 years of marriage together until his death on January 17, 2010.

She was a graduate of Milton High School Class of 1968.  After school she went on to work for Chef Boyardee, Milton and retired in 2004.

She was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Milton and the Milton Moose.  Helen loved her flowers and watching Penn State football but she also enjoyed Christmas time and Spring time when all the flowers started blooming.  Most of all Helen dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Helen is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Michael J. and Barbara Bobb of Cumberland, MD and Matthew J. and Tracy Bobb of Winfield, seven grandchildren; Alan Bobb, Evan Bobb, Katrin Guinter, Derek Irvan and his wife Katie, Brandon Hendricks, Justyn Hendricks and Elizabeth Bobb, four great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law; Scott and Pamela Burns of Cedar City, UT and one sister; Bonnie Minderhout of Bloomsburg.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by one granddaughter; Allison Guinter, three brothers; Bob Sanders, Gary and Jimmy Burns and one sister; Nancy Raker.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, E. Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.

Graveside services for Helen will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:45 a.m. in Harmony Cemetery, Milton with The Reverend John E. Lee, retired officiating.   Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N.
