Judith A. Blair

COAL TOWNSHIP - Judith A. “Judy” Blair, 86, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born in Lewisburg on January 29, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Reginald and Minna (Oliver) Blair.

Judy was a graduate of Milton High School, Class of 1958. After school she went on to earn her Master’s Degree from Bucknell University in Social Work.

She worked as a social worker for various places in the Valley and loved making a difference in other people’s lives.

Judy was an avid Penn State football fan

She is survived by two nephews; Frank Blair of Mobile, AL and Frederick (Linda) Blair of Hummelstown and two nieces; Rose (Darrel) Shatterly of Niceville, FL and Victoria Crout of Middletown.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by two brothers and sisters-in-law; Douglas and Helen Blair and Bryce and Nancy Blair.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to; Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, 2350 Paddy Mountain Road, Millmont, PA 17845 or to the Union-Snyder Agency of Aging, “Direct Patient Care”, 116 N. 2nd Street, Lewisburg, PA 17837.

All services for Judy will be announced at a later date. Burial will take place privately in Milton Cemetery alongside her parents.
