Kenneth J. Noll, Sr.

WATSONTOWN - Kenneth J. Noll, Sr., 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Shamokin on December 23, 1945 and was the son of the late Jerome and Florence (Smink) Noll.

Kenneth was a graduate of Our Lady Of Lourdes Regional High School, Class of 1963.  After school he went on to serve his country proudly during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on December 14, 1966 and was awarded three medals; Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.

On May 24, 2014, Kenneth married the former Bonnie M. (Stevenson), who survives, of Watsontown and they shared 9 years of marriage together this past year.

He was a compassionate and hard working man with a gentle heart and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.  Kenneth worked as a supervisor for Leer East Inc., Milton and was a member of the Fairview Gun Club, Shamokin.  He was an avid train enthusiast and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding ATVs, canning, playing his accordion and listening to Classic Country and Oldies music most of all, Kenneth loved his family and grandchildren that were the love of his life and enjoyed the time he got to spend with them.

In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law; Kenneth J. “Jerry” and Lisa Noll, Jr. of Enola and John P. Noll of Fallentimber, one daughter and son-in-law; JoAnna and Jared Bednar of Coal Twp., eight grandchildren; MeKayla, Devan, Jaden, Cameron, Samantha, Jameson, Aleksandra and Nolan and one sister and brother-in-law; Louise and Dave Logic of Shamokin along with nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by one sister; Geraldine Zvoncheck.

All services for Kenneth will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
