Mark B. Thomas

MUNCY - Mark B. Thomas, 67, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Muncy Place, Muncy.

He was born on November 9, 1958 in Orlando, FL and was the son of the late Willie P. Thomas and Jennie I. (Shaffer) Thomas Harris.

Mark was a graduate of Montgomery High School, Class of 1977. He worked for Eagle Enterprise, Watsontown for a few years before enlisting in the United States Army on November 15, 1979 where he served his country proudly and was honorably discharged on March 30, 1983 after being stationed in Anchorage Alaska and Texas.

In his younger years Mark enjoyed motorcycles and joking around with others.

Mark is survived by one brother and sister-in-law; Willie and Betty Thomas of Cogan Station, two sisters and one brother-in-law; Carol Day of Muncy and Azel and Aaron Benfer of Muncy, one step brother; Alanzo Harris of Fort Walton Beach, FL, one step sister and brother-in-law; Diantha and Kenneth Frank of Milton and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his step father; Charles Harris, Sr. and two step brothers; Charles Harris, Jr. and Robert Harris.

A viewing will be held from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. on Friday, September 25, 2026 at Calvary Tabernacle, 290 Corcyra Road, Sunbury, PA 17801 followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 P.M. with his nephew; Pastor Dennis Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Milton with full Military Honors.  The Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton is honored to serve the Thomas family.
