Martha B. Barclay

WATSONTOWN - Martha B. Barclay, 92, formerly of Ford City, passed away on August 19,2026 at The Gatehouse, Williamsport.

She was born February 22, 1934, near Greensboro, the daughter of the late Cecil and Inez Brewer.

Martha was a graduate of Mapletown High School and Penn Commercial College.

She married the late Jack Barclay on July 24, 1954. She was an active member of The First Baptist Church of Ford City for 40 years before moving to Watsontown in 2011. Martha, until her death was a member of The First Baptist Church of Elimsport, PA. She was a member of Penn West 23, National Camping Travelers and a past member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed family, friends, traveling and reading.

Martha is survived by her son; Gary and wife Nancy Barclay who she lived with since 2011, Grandson; Chad and wife Jennifer Barclay, granddaughter; Hannah Hart, great granddaughters; Sarah Barclay, Emma, Eleanor and Erin Hart and great grandson; Zachary Barclay.

In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by her daughter; Carol Barclay, a twin sister and 3 brothers who died at infancy and sisters; Edna Davis and Carrie Headlee.

All services for Martha are being handled privately at the convenience of the family. Private burial will be in Garard's Fort Cemetery, Green County PA. The Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton is honored to serve the Barclay family.
