Peggy Cox

Peggy Ann (Kratzer) Cox, 51, of Dewart, died unexpectedly of natural causes at her home on September 28, 2021.

She was born in Lewisburg on December 11, 1969 and was the daughter of Maynard S. and Margaret A. (Rider) Kratzer, of Dewart.

She was married to Bruce E. Cox.

Peggy was a graduate of Warrior Run High School Class of 1988.  She went on to pursue her degree in nursing at Penn Tech, Williamsport and became a Registered Nurse.

She was a loving person and loved her family.  She also enjoyed gardening and knitting.

In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy is survived by one son; Bruce F. Cox, three daughters and sons-in-law; Venessa and Justin Diehl, Brittany and Levi Yost and Danielle and Thomas Miller, eleven grandchildren; Gwendolyn Fisher, Carsyn Diehl, Dallis Miller, Kensington Miller, Bayleigh Miller, Hunter Miller, Bella Specht, Jaylnn Yost, Jaden Yost, Brielle Yost and Lillian Yost and one sister and brother-in-law; Tracy and Jeremey Rhoades.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Stanley M. and Marie C. Kratzer and her maternal grandparents; Clifford E. and Edna M. Rider, one son; Brayden S. Cox and one sister; Lisa M. Kratzer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Road, Milton, PA 17847.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton.  The family asks that those in attendance use the Davis Chapel entrance.  Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
