Robert Heller

SUNBURY - Robert F. Heller, 84, died Monday, November 2, 2020 at his residence.

He was born on June 1, 1936 in Harrisburg and was the son of the late Francis C. and Ada C (Smith) Heller.

Robert served his country proudly in the United States Navy.

On November 21, 1956 Robert married the late Nancy L. (Welliver) and they celebrated 35 years of marriage together until her death on October 4, 1991.

He worked for ACF, Milton for 37 1/2 years and retired in 1997.  He was a lifetime member of Sunbury Steam Hose Co. 1 a member of Union County Sportsman’s Club, Mifflinburg Moose, past governor of Sunbury Moose, Milton Eagles, VFD Post 44 and the 40 & 8 club of Montandon.  He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed sitting on his porch watching people drive by.

Robert is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law; Robert J. Heller and Brenda Enterline of Sunbury and William Neilson and his companion Sheyenne Blackwell of Sunbury, three daughters and one son-in-law; Sharon L. Martin and her companion John Martin of Sunbury, Brenda L. and Sergio Urbina of Sunbury and Donna J. Heller of Sunbury, nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandson, one brother and sister-in-law; Gary and Donna Heller of Illinois, three sisters and one brother-in-law; Debra and Elmer Danley of Northumberland, Darlene Mowery of Shamokin Dam and Shelia Arnold of Sunbury along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parent and wife, Robert was preceded in death by one son; Francis Heller, one daughter; Tina Neilson, one great grandson; Andrew Heller, two brothers and six sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Martin, 1032 Susquehanna Ave., Sunbury, PA 17801 in order to defray the funeral costs.

A graveside service for Robert will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 6, 2020 in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.  Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
