MIDDLEBURG - Timothy J. Faust, 67, died Thursday, July 17, 2025 at WellSpan York Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Chambersburg on February 19, 1958 and was the son of the late David R. Faust, Jr. and Kathleen J. “Katie” (Kessinger) Faust who survives of Winfield.
On October 9, 1982, Tim married the former Tammy L. (Bingaman). They celebrated 42 wonderful years of marriage, where they enjoyed raising a family, traveling, and long walks together.
He was a graduate of Lewisburg High School, Class of 1976. After school, he went on to work for Bingaman and Son Lumber for 46 years and was currently the Vice President of Manufacturing.
Tim was a member of Winfield Baptist Church where he was very involved and served in many capacities including Elder, Sunday School teacher and participated with Disaster Relief. He was an avid cyclist and completed RAGBRAI in 2022. Tim enjoyed working at restoring the family barn, playing games and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tim loved his Lord and Savior and had a heart for serving others. It showed in the person that he was and how he was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved well and was well loved.
In addition to his mother and wife, Tim is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Ashley and Kirk Shaffer of Selinsgrove, two sons and one daughter-in-law; Ben and Janelle Faust of Middleburg, and Nic Faust of Middleburg, six grandchildren; Jackson, Julian, Adilyn, Sara, Theodore and Franklin, one brother; David R. Faust, III of Lewisburg, and one sister; Kimberly Quinn of Leesburg, FL.
In addition to his father, Tim was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tom Quinn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Northumberland Christian School where his children graduated and his grandchildren currently attend at 351 5th St, Northumberland, PA 17857 or Winfield Baptist Church at 330 PA-304, Winfield, PA 17889.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 27, AT 4:00 P.M. at Winfield Baptist Church with Pastor Corey Mitchell officiating. A time of food and fellowship will follow. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family in New Berlin Cemetery.
