NORTHUMBERLAND - Kathryn May (Scott) Shultz, 86, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Maria Hall, Danville.

She was born on November 13, 1934 in Milton and was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Helen (Coup) Scott.

On November 22, 1952 Kathryn married the late Malvin H. Shultz, Sr. and they celebrated 64 years of marriage together until his death on September 3, 2017.

She was a graduate of Milton High School Class of 1952.  After School Kathryn became a seamstress and worked for several companies throughout the Susquehanna Valley.  Kathryn was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Northumberland she enjoyed collecting things, sewing, going to yard sales, shopping and gardening.

Kathryn is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Malvin H. and Anita Shultz, Jr. of Watsontown, one daughter-in-law; Linda Shultz of Hughesville, six grandchildren; Alec (Julie) Persun of Montoursville, Andrew Persun and his fiancé Tara Batdorf of Turbotville, David Mattern of Hughesville, Erika Shultz of Sunbury, Laura Shappell of Easton and Amy (Christopher) Boyer of Williamsport and five great grandchildren; Ava Shappell, Olivia Boyer, Kyrie Persun, Oliver Person and Ezra Miller.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kathryn was preceded in death by one son; Michael Shultz, one brother; Henry Scott, Jr. and one sister; Dorothy Yordy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Geisinger Hospice, 74 Schoolhouse Road, Suite 104, Danville, PA 17821

All services for Kathryn will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
